Movie Factory 6 Plus Installation Problems

Hi. I just purchased Movie Factory 6 Plus. And I still can't get it to install. I must have tried 15 times. Everything goes okay till I get to a certain part of the installation. It's the part that says, "Registering Type Libraries". It never moves from that area. I even waited 2 hours and it still stayed at that spot. I even tried the demo version, same thing. What could be the problem. I have a brand new laptop. It's up to date. Any sugestions. I hope I didn't throw away $73.98. Thanks

If the problem still occurs try considering other applications (video editing solutions) because you might be experiencing compatiblity error.

Also make sure that you are using an admin account.

Last Option: Reformat, after installing drivers, install the mf prior to any other application.

Hi. I already tried all that. Why should I have to change all my system for one software. Even the demo doesn't work. And I tried the Net Framework 2.0 on it. Nothing is working. Could you tell me how long the rgistering type libraries takes to install. I guess I wasted my money. And how do you use admin account. Thanks

The installation process will still depend on your hardware specs. I assume you are already using the admin account of your computer, but you can still double check in the control panel > user accounts.

If you tried the demo version already, I think that there is no problem with the installer because a lot users have also tried the demo version and installed it sucessfully.
