VStudio 11 crashes when converting some .ts files

A handy new feature in vstudio 11 is that it supports the .ts file format (very handy if you like HD). I've been trying to convert the .ts to uncompressed AVI (tried other formats as well) but it only converts a couple of frames then the program crashes. However, some .ts files do work! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, any ideas?
