HDTV back recording with Sony HC7

I recently purchased Video Studio 11 because I wanted to record back on the HDV camcorder the files I edited on the PC (so long as HD DVD burners are not available).

My point is I can record the content of my camcorder on the PC und record the file back to the camcorder. However as soon as I make some editing works (even minor ones as cut & paste) I can no longer record the content back. The edited file I would like to record back is displayed on the monitor screen of the camcorder during the recording process (record lamp on) but not recorded. Can anybody help me?

There are other bugs with studio 11 (for instance record window blocks and so on).

I have tried to address this issue to the technical support of Ulead but they did not even acknowledge my trouble ticket.

I haven't been able to write back to tape at all using VS11+ unless I disable smart-render (accessible under options when creating the TS file).
VS10+ works fine writing back to tape.

I got it to work with smartrender on, not sure why it worked. The source video was created from another program in transport stream. I never converted it to program stream in VS11+ so not sure.

As you know it takes awhile to record, edit & render the whole process. Probably won't have time to get back to this until next week.
