Hi,
I took some video with my digital camera which saved it in MPG4 - Quicktime format (640 x 480).
The video was taken with the camera in a vertial position and created the video file that way.
When I bring the video into VS11+ and rotate it the video will not play but plays in the original .MOV vertical.
How can I correct this? I have tried converting it to AVI but had the same result?
I have 3 short MOV files that I would like to edit but am unable to.
MPG 4 Horizontal to Vertical

Is it possible for you to post one of your short videos to Filewind so that I may try and find a solution.

MBarnes sent my a PM with a link to one of the videos.
My copy of VideoStudio 11+ performed just as he stated. It played perfectly in its original format but when rotated by 90 degrees would not play.
I converted the file using
Super
This piece of software converts almost any video format into almost any other video format. Very useful if you've downloaded DivX Xvid or MPEG4 files off the internet and then find you are having difficulty editing them due to their highly compressed nature.

Using the following parameters:

I was then able to open the converted file with VideoStudio 11+, rotate and render the video to DV format which now plays perfectly.
MBarnes I will send you a PM with a link to the converted video.

Does Super work with Vista??
I searched around this forum, Super site and internet and couldn't get a clear answer on whether it works with Windows vista which I've just installed. (And like others find my .mov files screech and jump around in VS11 sigh.) Anyway, I'm back to trying to make cool videos with my new computer and hoping that VS11 and Vista patches smooth everything out sooner rather than later!
Have HP Media Center M8120n desktop (2.40GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600; 2 320GB Drives; 3GB DDR2) with Vista home premium. Using VideoStudio 11plus.
