stripe on picture slide show after rendering

I use VS 8 and started to prepare several picture slide shows. All is perfect when I see the project but after rendering (and burning on dvd) I have a stripe on every picture and at the same position.
Any help is much appreciated.

Maybe time to clean the burner? This is not software related. I'm NOT trying to sound mean.. I'd double check all the hardware..

for sure it is not the hardware
as I wrote it happens already before burning when preparing an mpeg file saved on hard disk

Can you fill out the system info? I show nothing posted.. It actually does help.. Also, any chance you can post a pic of the problem?

I dont know how to post a picture.
I tried to use different pictures and it seems that the problem only occurs with pictures of my camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ-5). I used other pictures and no problem at all.

I recall having this also on VS8. I think it had to do, in my case, with having enhanced certain JPEG photos using a photo editor.
If this is the same situation for you try saving the photos as Bitmap images then insert into the project and see if that handles it.
