kristiwt -- why did you post in this thread when, as far as I can see, your query has nothing to do with HD cameras.

Do you have the XVid codec on your computer? Video Studio does not come with such codecs, so you have to download them and install them separately. At least XVid is free!

The video seems to be a lot better in terms of quality Cal. VS definitely recognizes the HD source and tells me it's capturing in HD. Must say it's not LOADS better though... I'll keep an eye on this thread and see how you get on. You may have a point about the HD display of your monitor/PC.
