Performance on various machines

Out of interest I ran the same DVD build on 3 different spec machines. Here are the times:-

P4 3ghz HT 1gb ram 2:20

Dual core 2.8ghz 1gb ram 1:30

Quad core xeon 2.33ghz 2gb ram 0:51

One machine had a 10k drive, so the test was run on the standard c drive also, no discernable difference was noted. These results indicate the CPU bound nature of the image build process, and that faster machines result in quicker build times.
