Movie Factory renders my two CD drives useless

I recently installed the trial version of movie factory 6. It resulted in both of my cd drives disappearing in system/hardware/device manager. When I revert back to the last good boot ... they are back again. Reinstalling movie factory 6 causes the same reaction.

I am looking for any help or explanation .... with thanks and appreciation

Other packet writing or dvd burning software can conflict.
Packet writers like Roxio Drag2Disk, Nero InCD, Sonic DLA, Special DVD Copying software etc.

Thank you respectfully for your insight. Now I need to find out how to deal with, or correct the situation
