Hey there

Just making a post to intro myself and get over the zero post policy.

Have recently purchased VS11.5 and have had fun so far.
Thought is sensible to join a forum and learn the tricks of the trade through reading.

Okay off to the FAQs

Cheers

A quick hello. I was into photography a long time ago..... even used film. And kind of stopped for 20 years.... mostly to write music. Anyway, doing both now and love the interplay of digital camera and PSP. I currently use PSP XI (as I upgrade ever other one.) Have lots of questions and will start posting them soon.

Looking forward to learning a lot and contributing what little I know.

I am a hobby photographer/videographer and have used Ulead products since receiving PhotoImpact 3.0 SE with my first flatbed scanner.
This forum should be a big help as I migrate to VS11.5+.
I don't write much.
Thanks,
partychief3

P.S. That is "party chief" as in "Chief of Land Survey Party". I don't really party that much any more.

Hi, I'm from Montréal, I'm 35 and I'm new to video editing. I bought my first camera this summer and I love to edit video! I tried Cyberlink Power Director and Ulead Video Studio and I finally chose Video Studio. I find it more stable and less demanding on my poor CPU!

I have found a here solution (or the reason there is none) to every video capturing-editing-authoring problem I've encountered to date.
The advice here is solid, the sincerity of the advisors is evident and the access is universal. Bravo!

Advice to all: Read the FAQ's and SEARCH! It's all right here!

thank you,

Hello World

(Very old programmer humor in the subject  )

Making a quick post here to confirm that I am indeed a real person and not a spammer, drug pusher or pervert!

I spent time with the evaluation versions of Ulead as well as several other movie making suites. Determined that Ulead was the best fit for me.

My current project with Ulead is an attempt to make a 20 year reunion rememberance DVD for my high school class. We already had the reunion, I'm just attempting to memorialize it and our time together back in the '80s.

Hello everyone!

I'm Matt. I'm from Houston, Texas. I recently got into Video Editing and after reading from great reviews of Ulead Video Studio I thought I'd download the trial and check it out for myself. So far so good and I'm looking to work with more features of the program so I joined the forum for help.

Steve here from Ontario. I live a short 1 hour drive from the Corel HQ in Ottawa Ontario. I pass the building at least 2 times a week. Since trying to get the demo of 11.5+ going, I actually managed to get the program to run for one whole day. The next day, when I clicked on the desktop icon, it just sat there and did nothing. Clicked several times on the icon and 5 minutes later I got the message: "Limit users can not try this program. You can use normally after successful activation". Wow... I can not even open the program to try it out. I recently did a 3 day event with a Sony HD camera and now need the tools that Corel/Ulead are supposed to offer. In reading the posts now, I see a lot of disgruntled users. Must admit, after being a Paint Shop Pro addict from Jasc, I did see a major slow down in enhancements when Corel took over. I hope I am not going to be disappointed when I buy 11.5 plus without even getting to try a demo. Support has given me several options and have followed them all. All to no end... And... I understand that the demo version does not load the "power pack" unless purchased. Must ask... what good is a demo for something if you are not allowed to use the demo in the first place??

Sorry to introduce myself as being crabby, but I have spent the last 3 days trying to make headway through choppy internet service and instructions that do not work. Just getting very frustrated.

By the way... hello to everyone !! Have a good rest of the weekend...
