I'm new here, but not new to PSP. Been using PSP since JASC version 5 -- maybe 4 not sure. At any rate. I love PSP. I've recently upgraded to X3 and hoping to dig into it soon.
Hello
I am a newbie with Corel Video pro
for 2 years. I use many of Corel products for years and really enjoy Corel Painter. I started to make videos in between my digital art works. I'm trying to perfect the use of Video Studio Pro and I feel I am in the right place with very talented people on this community forum.
I would like to have my avatar of myself on here but it will not show up. I did have it when I joined but it went away. Sorry. I tried again but I cannot click the upload it is not there to ask except for a url address which I dont have.
I'm a Nova Scotian from Canada and live along the Bay of Fundy. This is mainly a scallop and lobster fishing area. Also we have the highest tides in the world.
Glad to be here and accepting me to be part of your group.

Hi
I'm new on the forum, but not as a CorelDRAW user. I've been using it since Corel Draw 7. Mostly for drawing films for photo etching but also a litle lay-oyt and so on.
My ame is Anders: I live in Norway. I'm 59 years old and I work in television.
Etching brass plates is a part of my hobby as a model builder.
Hi,
My name is Cok van Werkhoven, i am 61 years old, live in the Netherlands in a place called Veenendaal.
I'm working for an architect and love to take pictures and making home videos.
Hi, My name is Lynn Ormond. I work as an engraver using CorelDraw 9 and a Universal laser.
I started my current job, after a couple of years of unemployment, last March, and within
a couple of months all the other employees are gone (not my fault, as far as I know...).
We have about 30,000 job files, which are stored without any logic I can determine, so
finding a previous job file is difficult. I wonder if there is any way within CorelDraw, or
some utility out there that will search the files for specific text (which hasn't been converted
to curves)? Any ideas?
I'm a long-standing user of Bibble Pro, who is now joining the "Corel family" as a user of AfterShot Pro. I can see a lot of the folks from the old forum are already here and look forward to the good spirit from that forum being continued here.
I first started making videos at age 18 when I was a young buck and could carry equipment on my own without throwing out my back. It was 1990 and I was an energetic kid in the military. It wasn't my job but over time I made a lot of party videos and videos for my friends who were PCSing or separating from the military. It just so happens that a lot of the VHS tapes I made were borrowed but never returned...go figure!
Today I specialize in making tutorials for video editing programs such as Avid Studio, Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere Elements, and CyberLink PowerDirector. I also record/film amateur sporting events, create other YouTubers videos, and create short fims. Since AS and PS are being turned over to Corel, I hope to start making tutorials for the new versions of Avid Studio or Pinnacle Studio that Corel creates (if they do so). If not, I will give VideoStudio Pro a try and see how things go. I hope to one day join the Tutorial group in this forum. You can view my tutorials and YouTube pages at the follwing links:
Hi to Corel users, I am Yorkie moving over from the newly purchased Pinnacle and Avid as I believe this will be our new home!
I have been interested on a purley amateur footing in cine since my teens many moons ago. I progressed onto a video camera when we decided to go to the USA for the first time and wanted to record our adventure.
I have recently moved onto HD which I purchased for my daughters wedding.
The thing is I am learning all the time
Hello everybody. I'm Jim Crutchfield, a Virginian sojourning in New York City (Long Island City, Queens, to be exact). I started using WordPerfect back in about 1984, and I've been a loyal user despite the creeping featurism, the ill-advised leap to Windows, and Corel's half-hearted acquisition of the program. A lot of programmers consider WordPerfect 5.1 (for DOS) the best piece of software ever written, and I'm inclined to agree with them. Even so, I've dutifully upgraded over the years, and I now have WP Office X5. Haven't decided yet whether or not to get X6--I'm not confident that Corel will keep supporting the program.
I joined this board in hopes of finding help with WordPerfect, but it doesn't even seem to have a WordPerfect forum. I'm sure Corel's other programs are fine, but my only Corel product is WordPerfect Office. Any other WP users out there?
your very welcome jd but as I have said in your other post we do not have a forum here for Wordperfect - but who knows we may be able to interest you in digital photo manipulation to enhance your ~Wordperfect documents.

Thanks for the welcome, BrianCee, and also for the tip, in the thread I started, about finding a WordPerfect forum. Hope my bungling around in here hasn't inconvenienced you.
I've been deeply invested in the Adobe line for years--maybe since before Corel acquired WordPerfect--so I've never really looked into Corel's graphics applications. Goodness knows the Adobe products have their shortcomings, so maybe I will indeed get interested in Corel-world.
