Hi, just saying hello. I'm a long time user of Paint Shop Pro, starting with version 1.5 when it was called simply called Paint Shop.
I've been offering tutorials for PSP on the web for many years. I'm just becoming familiar with the newest version and hope to share some comments on it from time to time.
I also noticed that a few questions from new users, perhaps I can help.

Hi all,
I'm an avid photographer from California. I grew up through a number 35mm & 120 film cameras and have been doing digital almost exclusively for the last ten years. Currently I'm shooting with a Canon 40D.
I've been a long time user of PSP dating back to the early versions and most recently have been using X2 Ultimate and X3. I've read comments in these forums for a while and enjoy the discussion.
Thanks and I look forward to participating.
Craig

Hi
I'm 54 years old and live in Vienna, Austria.
I use Corel's products since 1993 (CorelDraw 3.0) and Ulead's since 2002 (VideoStudio 5). When I jumped into HD-Videography (using a Sony HDRSR12E with AVCHD) more than one year ago I became a little bit unhappy with my VideoStudio X2
. I'm just testing the trial X3 to find out if its worth to stay with VS.
Hope this board will help me to find out.
Manfred

Hi everybody :-)
I'm a 37year old dane, named Klaus and been playing around with computers since 1982. I'm the type of guy who likes to try all sorts of application, so I'm addicted to virtualization. I work as an IT technician on a daily basis, so I'm the type who likes to see applications work - and not the overclocking geek type.
I also have a family, so that works in the opposite direction

Hello everyone,
My name is Paul Riemerman, from the icebox state of Minnesota. I've been a user of PSP for years (since version 8 and before). I've been a photographer for more than 20 years, and a digital camera user for at least half that time. I am also a Corel C-Tech volunteer, and will try to provide answers to questions others have on the PSP forum.

my intro
just joined the Corel Forum a couple of days ago to troubleshoot some difficulty in converting VHS to digital media. I think I've already found the answer to my question, but if I have further questions, I'll post in the approprate category.
My moniker is momofboys because I have 4 boys , ages 8 to 2. We also have 8 hens (as egg producers and pets), and 13 broilers destined for our freezer in 4 more weeks.
We live in downtown Austin, TX, but seek to have a more homesteading lifestyle where we are until we can get some more space.
So I have lots of mini DV's of my boys (it's daunting even considering all the editing that has to be done to those...) Plus I want to make more videos of our homesteading exploits and post those on Youtube and other social media.
My husband has always been the audio/visual expert in this family, but he has neither the time nor the desire to edit the growing-up videos, so it's up to me to do it. (or wait for one of my boys to get interested and start doing it for me
That's it in a nutshell.

Hello!
Hi,
I am new to the group! I recently purchased a helmet camera for all my outdoor adventures, skiing and bicycling to name a few, then needed some software to process the hours of video into something people would want to view. After trying the trial version of the VideoStudio Pro X3, I decided I liked the software design and capabilities minus a few flaws/ gliches that I am experiencing with the software. Hence joining the forum. On a whim I also purchased the Paintshop Photo Pro X3 because my photo editing software is very ancient. I have a lot to learn with the Paintshop.
I am very interested in photography and now my new hobby of videography.
Best regards all around and I look forward to posting!

Introduction
Hello,
Real name John. I'm an 80-year-old, so called retired, scriptwriter keeping myself active and hopefully alert. In truth I'm as daft to-day as I was when I was 16. Born in Brum, living in the Wye Valley. Computer wise - reasonably literate, assembled my two PCs but I can sometimes be flummoxed by geek speak! From time to time I travel with my video camera to north Germany, an area I became fond of when I was a young soldier. Tried WinDVD but never really took to it - in any case it occasionally crashed or froze my PC for no apparent reason. Even with expert help, never really got to the bottom of that problem. Used Serif until recently but it does have limitations. Quickly lost my way in Avid - so I'm giving VSX3 a tryout.

Hello everyone.
I am Joerg from Germany. My native language is german, so I apologise in advance for the cases, I do not use the correct words in english. I am doing Video editing on the PC for at least 6 years now. I started with Ulead MSP 7 (before that I was using freeware like virtual dub for some easy cutting) and then bought Video studio 11.5 + after I got a HDV Camcorder.
Now I am trying VS X3 (Trial Version), because of the new editing functions.
I have got some Problems with it. I have been reading here for a while, but my problems have not been mentioned here. The german corel board seems to have no answer. My post there is unanswered for more than 10 days
And th german Corel support told me that my problems are nothing they are responsible to answer and that I should go to the user boards for help.
So I will shortly open a new topic in the Video Studio Area.
Kind Regards
