Hi

Post by lulutoo »

My real name is Tricia and I live in Wisconsin. I have one kid in high school and one who graduated. I just took up digital scrapbooking in August, but that's when I started having more problems with PhotoImpact due to the extra demands my hobby puts on the program. I'll post what those problems are in a new topic or thread.

Hi all,
I just joined the forum and would like to introduce my self. I've recently started doing underwater videos. I don't have any questions yet, but I will shortly.

Thanks,

Hi all,

My name is Bob and I'm 68 yrs old and live in Sydney Australia.

I've just joined the forum but I have been using it as read only for several years now and I have found it to be interesting and, at times, very helpful.
I've just bought a new computer running Windows 7 64-bit OS and I intend to buy either DVDMF7 or DVDMF Pro 7. I have a couple of questions which I'll post in the appropriate forum.

Hello,
I am Robert Sanwell, I am retired and live in the UK. I am just regestering
my membership of the forum before my time runs out. I am having problems burning DVDs using VideoStudiox2, for which I shall be seeking advice shortly.
Meanwhile I wish all forum members a Happy Christmas and a good New Year.

Hello,
My name is Kenny from Taiwan. I have been a fan of PhotoImpact for many years. I also have DVD MovieFactory 7, though I mainly uses it as a Nero replacement. As an (amateur) programmer, I like to play with different softwares and occasionally make fun from image editing.

The Chinese version of this forum looks dead. So I registered here, hope to join some discussions soon. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums,

Hopefully there will be more activity here for you..:) It does appear that PhotoImpact is a dying program though, and Corel may be throwing DVD MF in the same direction. The bright side is, that doesn't mean we have to stop using it. As long as we have an OS that they run on, we can continue for as long as we like..;) Looking forward to your participation..:)

My name is Vladimir Skrypnik, 61 years old. I'm from Ukraine, but 8 years ago was invited to work in Utah, USA. In last 5 years my wife and I are in Southern Utah, close to famous Zion national park and in 2 hours of drive to Bryce Canyon national park and Grand Canyon national park.
That's why I have my JVC mini DV camcorder and VS Pro X2. I hope my participation in this forum will give me a chance to resolve all my questions and be helpful to others.

Hello all, my name is Larry and I am new to the forums, but not to Corel. I am 67 years old and enjoy photography and subsequent photo editing. I want to expand my knowledge and felt that this forum would provide additional insight into the workings of PSP X2. I am sure that over time I will have many questions.

Hi,
Name is Dwayne Stroman. Not to boor this forum with my life history, the short version is I'm a software developer (turned manager) and just learning how to edit video. I roadrace motorcycles and want to provide some video training by following new racers and giving them a cool video of their track sessions. My goal is to learn to use VideoStudio to do the really cool stuff that adds impact to the video. For a personal usage I also want to do the typical family vacation videos and my daughters wedding. I'm sure I'll have tons of dumb questions for this forum as time goes by, so be patient with me!

I am a retired IT executive in Tennessee, having been the chief information officer at two major U.S. corporations, one in the telecom industry and the other in the healthcare field. I decided to use the DVD Movie Factory to pull together several short videos of my granddaughter's dancing prowess to use as a Christmas gift. She has won several national competitions and is currently on scholarship with the EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. My days in the technology world go all the way back to the BUNCH in the late 50s (Burroughs-Univac-NCR-Control Data-Honeywell) but I find the newer environment so much more exciting. So far, DVD MovieFactory 6 has met my expectations but the learning curve for an old duffer like me was steeper than I expected. Once I got it, though, I got it! I think I'll make good use of this forum.

Hi,
Used Ulead videostudio 8 a few times and have now upgraded? to X2. I think I will be using the knowledge of this forum a lot as I blunder about trying to make watchable DVDs. I work for Fujitsu in UK on VME mainframe support. Have been in IT industry since 1977 before which I was a motor mechanic. Would retire tomorrow if I could afford to!

Hi all

I am Jeremy and a newbie on this area. Currently, I own a Canon DC 100 and trying to pick up as much knowledge on all the jargon about video editing.
And I felt that this forum will be able to provide me additional insight of what to do.

I am trying to edit some of the family vacation that I recorded two years ago. If anybody having the same DC 100 and experience, please share your where should I start.

Thanks
