According to the rules of this forum, I must post within 24 hours or I loose my account, so here goes.

I have been using PhotoImpact since version 5 and I am looking forward to seeing what this forum has to offer.

Hi

I'm posting because of the 24 hour deadline to remain a member of the forum. My main interest is in Ulead (whoops sorry!) Video studio, which I have used since V6. I use it to edit video recordings of UK trains, family and trips. Nothing special - and I'm not yet into HD so remain on VS 10+.

Most of my visits to the site are to find out if people have already solved problems that I come across but I have posted a couple of suggestions in the past.

It's a great forum and I particularly value the contributions of Ken Berry and Steve Jones who always seem to have a positive - and diplomatic answer to questions and complaints!

regards, Stuart Burnley

Hi
My name is Ove and I have far to many hobbies :D
I'm born -62 and have a wife and two children, a boy and a girl, 14 and 11 years of age.
I started with the photo interest 3 decadees ago. When you created your own pictures in the darkroom lab. Later there where computers involved and my large interrest in electronics took over.
The last two years I have used my Panasonic DV cam with 3CCD and the computer to make some really good movies. But the time isn't there for everything. For the moment there is very little filming and photography. But I'll be back, for sure :D

Please look at my hobby homepage http://www.binatech.se/hem/(swedish and english) and my small company pages http://www.binatech.se/(swedish but a lot of pictures :) ) , besides my normal employment. Then you will see I have full time and there is very little TV watching.
Even though desktop video has been and still is of interrest I have no hompage about it. Funny eh.. :) I have to change that.

I see there are the familiar Ulead users still in here. I will eventually start to plow the threads I have missed the last year.

My name is Guy Lapierre and I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I am married with two lovely daughters and all I've tried to do since their births is to capture as many moments on film as possible. I'm looking forward to viewing this footage with future boyfriends and husband. I'm also sure I'll be sitting around in my old age watching memories.

I am a computer software consultant. I sell management systems for automotive repair shops. I also create and maintain the documentation and online help systems for the application. I am a software trainer and web designer. I also do minor programming.

Outside of work I love running and computer games.
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop

Introduction

Post by dc denizen »

I received an email from the administrator, saying I need to create a post within 24 hours, so here it is. I am DC Denizen, a beginning user located in the Washington, DC area. I bought Corel Video Studio 11+, and taught myself the basics, with a lot of help from the monitors of this board. I ran into a problem of not being able to import a DVD into VS, and paid Corel support to help me solve the problem, but alas, received very little help with it, and the issue remains unresolved. So I'm still unable to use VS for the purpose for which I purchased it. Anyway, here is my introduction.

Introducing myself

Post by ticterra »

I am Brazilian, live in Colorado, USA since 1997. Speak Portuguese, English and Spanish. I've been using ULEAD Video Studio since version 10. I bought both updates (11.5) and now (Corel 12)... but I confess I didn't notice too much change on the product.

Anyway... I am able to create really nice videos using Video Studio, and I believe it's easy enough for anyone. Hopefully whenever I find any problem I will also find help here.
