Pull the pictuers of a DVD

I have made a slide show with no problems onto DVD. Is there any way to pull the pictures back off the disc as I had a computer crash and lost all.
All the pictures have some text on them and I would prefer not to have to do it all over again.

You are out of luck I'm afraid. Your pictures are no longer pictures, they have been converted to video files and reduced in frame size to whatever your TV standard is (720 x 480 NTSC or 720 x 576 PAL). The writing is embedded and to remove this would further deteriorate the image quality.

Did you make use of the option to burn your source files onto the DVD as well? I have never done it and only used DVD Picture Show once but there might be a possibility to recover your images if did burn them to the disc.

I had a feeling thay had changed and I was stuck. I will start over again.
