Using MovieFactory2 with a TV capture. I can't figure out how to edit out a series of commercials. The clip appears when I do the Mark-In and Mark-Out, but I can't figure out how to create another clip without doing an Add Video. The documentation seems to be no more than a glossary....
Any help appreciated for what I'm sure is an embarrassing case of operator stupidy.

I had the same problem and took awhile to figure out the process.
Although I'm on MF 3, I believe the steps are nearly the same.
Import or acquire your video in the 'Add/Import' window. Choose the 'multi-segment edit' button if there.
New window comes up, edit multi-segment. Use the jog bar or scroll to the start of the 1st seg to save and hit the F3 key. Go to the frame where the commercial begins and with the keyboard arrow key, go back 2 or 3 frames and hit the F4 key. You'll see this segment in a green line on the Jog Bar.
You should now see that segment jump down to what MS calls the 'Timeline' as a clip. Sorry, haven't found out what Ulead calls it.
Repeat above steps for each segment you want saved. Then click ok.
This returns you to the main window from before. Look up on the Jog Bar and you should see a red line representing each of the saved segments you chose in previous window.
To confirm your saved segments, click in the center portion of the 1st red segment, hit the 'return to start of segment' button, and Play. You should see the opening you want and fade to black at the end just before the commercial. Repeat this for each red line segment shown.
