copying texture from 1 part of image to another part

Post by CaptainKen2 »

I have an image "Wanted-Poster (1200x1601).gif" found at: http://www.midasmoving.com/ftp_files .

1) I would like replace everything accept the word Wanted.

2) Move the guns and hands to a different location.

Thanks,

Ken

You could try using the lasso tool to select the items to be moved. Move them into the required position and then use one of the clone tools to cover over the blank space and unwanted text.

There are several ways to do this, but here is how I did it.

I erased the words using the "Touch-up tool." By shift-clicking on the blank space directly below the letters and painting over it, I have achieved this:

and by using the Lasso or the Beizer curve tool, draw the outline of the guns then cut-paste it to the place you want it to be.

Repeat step one on the guns to erase the the previous locations.
