Can i import a video_ts file into a project in MF?

Post by oceanauk »

I've now corrected an audio sync problem using womble as suggested by this site - it has now put the file into a video_ts format. Can I use this file and put it into my project i'm working on in MF5 or will the final burning process change the format of this mpeg again? If it is possible how can I do it ? Many thanks.

You can Import The AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders the same you you can Import from a regular DVD.
But, Womble does not force you to create a DVD structure. You can save your edited output-file as a regular .MPG file.

I don't remember the exact steps, and I don't have Womble on this machine. I know Womble has a strange interface, but it's not too hard... Start by clicking the red button in the lower-right.

Which part do I import into MF5?

Thanks for your reply. Do I import the whole folder into MF? It has other files within - IFO and bup files? Not sure what any of this means lol! But how do I pull the file into the project before I burn the final dvd? I have now managed to export the clip into an mpeg format via womble as you've suggested so I'm going to try that as well!!
