hey guys, i dont no whts goin on wrong ... i m usin this thing 1st time.
i got samsung sc - d363
the software with it i got is ulead video studio 9SE DVD
i got vista ultimate...
k the problem is everytime i click capture video, it does capture but all it capture is blue screen... no video or audio... n all i see is blue screen..
n e one is here who knows how to solve this

It is definitely Vista compatible...
Can we assume that you have connected your Samsung to your computer via Firewire? This is the only way you can capture high quality DV format video (which is what your camera produces).
If your computer does not have a Firewire port, then you will need to buy and install a Firewire card and an appropriate cable. They are relatively cheap these days and also relatively easy to install.
If your camera has a USB port and came with a USB cable, then that is normally only used to transfer still images to your computer, or at most, low quality streaming video. (I see that yours has USB 2.0 PictBridge capabilities...)
Unfortunately, no camera manufacturer of whom I am aware ever includes a Firewire cable, but always include a USB cable, which gives users the idea that they can transfer their video via USB. But unless your camera is a very top end (i.e. expensive) mini DV model (or a mini DVD or hard disk camera), this is not the case. Firewire is the only way to go.
