I copied a rewritable dvd to my hard drive, then used the copy/fit disc function to duplicate it on a write-once dvd. This plays fine on my computer, but not in my standalone dvd player. I don't see any way to finalize the disc...

Hi,
About finalizing your disc, this option is usually found on the burning stage (if the software allows you to toggle this option). You only leave a burning session "open" for multi-session discs which the DVD-Video format do not support.
Just check the finalize burning option when you see it.
