How to use 'rubber band' in VS9

Post by Ladislaus »

I have done some effects and added music as back ground from a Elgar disc and saved it. Now I wish to adjust the volume using 'rubber band'.
Instructions book says to to click on the audio track in audio line. When I do this, the audio line then appears as parallel broken lines, but the rubber band does not appear. Any guidance is much appreciated please.Thank you

Sorry, I made it.
First the speaker symbol on the left of the audio line has to be clicked.
The rubber bands apear on the video track and the audio track. As I need audio as a back ground music, I only adjusted down the volume but on play back there was no effect of the adjusted volume.

Also, is it possible to play video and audio track at the same time so as to compare both levels and adjust audio accordingly, without drowning the video sound. Please help  THANK YOU.

In order to hear the effect on audio volume you MUST playback in 'PROJECT' mode - this will also allow you to see and hear the video track at the same time as your audio tracks.
