Pause feature when using Pan and Zoom in VS 11plus

Post by moviemakermom »

I just upgraded to VideoStudio11+ and when I pan and zoom over a still image I no longer have the ability to pause for a moment... where did this feature go? It was available in VS 10. I do not see anything in the manual either.

Thanks for a quick response. Working on a project... :?:

VS10 did not have a "pause" in the Pan & Zoom. You basically set your own Pause duration through the Customize dialog using Keyframes.

VS9 has a Start/Middle/End, and does not use keyframes. It did have a feature to set the pause duration. This was replaced with a much more flexible means to control the panning and zooming--Keyframes.

To set a pause using the keyframes, set a "keyframe" then right-click and choose copy. Move the playhead to a later time, add another keyframe. Now right-click on this keyframe and choose paste. The time between keyframes is your pause.

Wow. Thanks so much. For some reason key frames has been a grey area for me. I finally took the time and figured it out with your direction. I really appreciate it. :D
