Hello,
I use the path edit tool frequently but I am stuck and don't know if I want to achieve is possible.
After selecting and drawing a shape with the path edit tool, a rectangle for example I then set to continue draw to cut out area of the said shape. What I would like to do is to rotate the continue draw object when I am in continue draw mode.
For example:
Select path edit, rectangle.
Draw a rectangle and then set to continue draw.
Select a custom shape, an arrow for example and drag over
the selected continue draw object.
At this point I would like to rotate the arrow to point the other way (example only) but there is no way of doing this, if I select the transform tool this takes be out of path edit (continue draw) mode.
Any advise on this would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Andrew

each object you draw will be in its own layer. so after you have drawn your object using the path drawing tool (or line and arrow tool), just select the layer and use the transform tool / free rotate and it will work.
example:
1. open new image
2. select line & arrow tool
3. draw your arrow
4. select path drawing tool
5. draw a rectangle for example
6. Now go to your layer manager and select the line arrow object
7. Select transform tool and then rotate freely option
8. rotate your line arrow
Hope this helps
example:

Path edit continue draw
Hello
Thanks for the reply.
Perhaps I didn't explain well. I know about layers with different elements but what I am talking about is 'continue draw' on a particular path (layer) not a separate entity.
For example. Draw a square, select continue draw and select any shape, draw this shape in the center of the square that was just created.
Now what I want to do is transform the shape that was create in continue draw mode.
Thanks again
