I read that some versions or distributions of MF4 come with Disc Creator/DVD Tweak and Fit. But as I don’t see that accessory or feature installed on my pc, nor do I find it in my ULead’s folder, in the program’s ‘help’ application, the program’s pdf user guide, the program’s user interfaces, nor online at Intervideo’s ULead MovieFactory 4 tips and tutorials, nor even on my external burner’s supplied MF4 CD-ROM.
In my version of MF4’s ‘finish’ (or the burn) window, the afforded “Reduce size to fit a DVD” icon is ghosted even after I captured a small converted VHS video segment to MPEG/LPCM (formatted at MF4’s HQ disc manager setting), before the icon must become active (un-ghosted), must I first have either a DVD-RW/+RW disc inserted, or is the reason it is ghosted because the file size isn’t oversized (>60 mins)?
Expectedly, even with what little I can gather about re-sizing w/MF4, nothing tells me how to access the icon, let alone what might follow. So in hopes that the icon essentially does what ULead’ roughly implies DVD T&F does (and I can possibly re-size my nearly 2 hr movies so as to fit them on 4.7Gb DVD’s), I’m left to asking how to access the feature.
So unless someone here knows and is willing to share my versions workings, or if I succeed in resizing by using nothing more than the program’s user interface (to properly do what I hope to), maybe I won't end up having yet more coasters and/or material for cutting up into xmas tree decoratives. Besides, it should also help others.
But in that in the last day or so, nobody's yet responded at all to any of my other three posts, so again, any help appreciated.
How to re-size as my MF4SE version has no “Tweak & Fit&q

Discovered only this about this verson's “Reduce size to fit a DVD” icon:
1. Icon active only for file sizes >disc size.
2. File compressed on DVD.
3. Clicking the 'Resize' icon resulted in prompt stating 'process will take some time'.
4. For approx. 20% compression, process appears instantaneous.
5. Programming may not have afforded it's usual scripting of hour glass cursor. In any event, no notice of successful compression except that the disc's info bar reflects new burn file size and disc info bar color changes.
Thanks for the kind response.
