I don't know about Boris as I have never used it.
However, the situation with QuickTime is not completely clear. I don't know which version you have, but you should make sure that you have the latest version if working with Vista. Even then, it is not clear that even that version is fully Vista-compatible. If you look at the QuickTime website, they are still asking people for feedback as to whether it works with Vista or not...
For what it is worth, I have QT version 7.1.5.120 Pro on my Vista Home Premium computer, and it seems -- so far at least -- to work.

Oh my QT is 7.1.3
During I use Vista
1. When QT .mov was working fine but Create Disc was not working
2. I download PatVista and Create Disc was working but .mov was not working.
3. I remove PathVista and .mov was working but Create Disc was not working.
That's why weird. So I gave up and decide to go back Windows XP.
I think I should buy QT Pro 7.1.5.... with Vista. I hope it will work. I will try my best.

Danny,
Yes I have Boris Factory 1 on my system.
When you run the Boris Factory set up it firstly asks if you wish to intall it with MediaStudio or VideoStudio.
If you have both you have to run it once for each product selecting just MediaStudio or just VideoStudio.
If you have more than one version of a product installed on your hard drive, such as VideoStudio 10 and also VideoStudio 11, you have to run it once for each version.
So you run it once to install it with VideoStudio 10
Then you run it again to install it on VideoStudio 11.
You have to alter the installation path yourself when you have more than one version on your hard drive because as it searches for a copy of VideoStudio (or MediaStudio) it stops when it finds the first one and so you have to navigate to the other(s).
