Sony HDR-HC7 Capture error VS11

Anytime I try to capture, I get the following error in VS version 11:

Unable to switch to Capture Mode.
Check if your video capture driver is working properly.
[15023:4:2]

I can capture in Premier Elements v3 just fine.

Any ideas I can try?

Try to use the latest version of HDVSplit and see if you can capture through that.
