PhotoImpact 13 ???

Seems to me a new version of PhotoImpact usually ships a few months after a new version of VideoStudio. I am currently using PhotoImpact 11 and skipped 12. So when can I expect to upgrade to PhotoImpact 13?

Also I am starting to use DigitalJuice's Juice Drops. Hopefully Ulead can optimize the memory usage for opening large PSD files. I see a performance difference when I currently open my PSD from Juice Drops using an old version of Photoshop Elements and PhotoImpact 11.

SIDE NOTE: I was surprised when VideoStudio 11 came out without notice. Uusally I get an e-mail ahead of time since I have been an owner since Version 3. Maybe this is an example of how Corel will be running Ulead. I hope not. Hopefully Ulead will once again give advance notice to loyal customers before a new product comes out.

There was about 3 months advance notice from Ulead prior to the release of VS11+.

The last 2 versions of PhotoImpact were released in Autumn.

I will have to create an e-mail filter to make sure any Ulead e-mails are going to my inbox rather than spam/trash folder. Thanks.

I heard through the 'grapevine'...

initially is was dec 2007, but i believe now it is going to be around the august timeframe.

cool i cant wait! so corel wont kill off photoimpact after all
