Rendered DVD does not playback properly

I'm new at using Ulead VideoStudio 10 PLUS. For some reason when ever I try to make a home movie using several AVI clips, the rendered product plays back the clips as if they were all still photos. In other words, the DVD advances but only the first frame of each clip is displayed until the actual length of the clip is passed then it jumps the next clip repeating the same problems all over again.

Interesting. Where did these "AVI" clips come from and what were their properties before you rendered? Project settings?

The AVIs started out as .mov files taken by a Kodak Z730 digital camera. I used the batch convert to make them AVI files. As far as the settings go, I went with what ever the defalts were.
