Folks:
I am looking to output edited home movie to a VHS tape. Is there a way to do that directly?
I have been able to output movie to a DV connected camcorder. Theoretically, I can copy to a VHS tape from Camcorder. I would like to see if there is a quicker way (with better quality too).
Thanks
Using Ulead VS 11+, output to VHS tape?

Depends a great deal on what connections you have on your PC - I have a TV card with 'Video out' that works for me - I just play the project and view direct on a TV or record on a tape deck. 'Line out' provides the audio.
Before I had the TV card I just connected the VCR to the RCA sockets on the camcorder and recorded the VHS copy as I sent the DV back to the camcorder via firewire - you can do both operations simultaneously - no need to record DV tape then output to VHS seperately

Thanks for your reply. I do not have a TV card currently.
I have tried to do - camcorder to VCR via RCA and computer to camcorder via firewire - here are my results
1. works fine using Pinnacles studio.
2. Does not work on VS 11+ trial version. Could it be the trial version issue?
Thanks for your help
