Any reason to upgrade from VS7?
I have VS7 and do basic home video captures with my VHS video camera. Are there any compelling reasons to upgrade?

Only you can decide that. Why not download the v11 trial version and give it a test drive?

Probably Not
Hi, jmartin
I am an avid UVS7 user. I just upgraded to version 11plus and have been disappointed so far. For me it is nowhere near as stable as Version7. I upgraded for the multiple overlay track and Dolby sound capabilities, so far, I have regretted buying it.
So, unless you need multiple video tracks, HD Capture and editing capabilities, Dolby Sound, output to some mobile devices and a few other bells and whistles, Stick with Version 7. Since it seems Ulead usually doesn't fix problems, until they release a new version, (so they can charge you for it) I would recommend
waiting for the next version. Note: this is based on my experience, Your milage may vary.
Have fun,
Mark Spencer
