Hi there,
I am using the Trial Version of Video Studio 11 under MS Vista.
I have a problem when trying to proceed to DVD Creator to create a final DVD record. After a few moments I got a message that the program is no longer running and the system will turn it off..
Either I didn't notice that DVD creating is active on trial version or Video Studio 11 doesn't like Microsoft Vista.. Anybody can help me out with that..
Regards,
Tomas

Sorry but can you clarify please: when you refer to 'DVD Creator' do you mean the burning module of VS11? Or do you mean that you are using version 4 of Ulead Movie Factory, which was actually called 'DVD Disk Creator'? (If you are in fact using this version, it is not meant to work with Vista. MF6 does.)
Otherwise, VS11+ is certainly compatible with Vista and the burning module certainly works -- and should also do so with the trial version.

Hi Ken,
Thanks for your reply..
I am using VS11+ Trial version. After fininshing the edition of my movie I tried to proceed with Share Video option and then to Create Disc. Unfortunately I receive a message after some moments that the application is no longer working so the system is turning it off.
And honestly don't quite understand the matter..

OK so you are not using Movie Factory.
But if you are doing your editing, and then going to Share > Create Disc, you might want to try something different. When you finish editing, instead, go to Share > Create Video file > DVD. This will create a DVD compliant mpeg-2 of your project. When that is done, save your project, then go to File ? New Project. This will empty the timeline. Don't bother about giving the project a name == all you need is the empty timeline.
Now you select Share > Create Disc. The burning module will open. Use Add Media to insert your new mpeg-2 into the burning timeline. Make sure 'Do not convert compliant mpeg files' is ticked in the Project Settings icon (the middle of the three in the bottom left of the burning screen). Build your menus and burn.
