Entering music into the music track at a specific point

Hello (again). Is there a way to enter music in a specific point in the music track? I'm sure there is as I think I've done it before when I was using VS8, but I can't remember how to do it.

When I do it in VS10+, it is always entered at the start of the project or onto the end of the last piece of music that I entered onto the music track.

In "Timeline View", you can drag an audio track onto the music or voice track. Is that how you did it before?

That was quite possibly it. Now you've mentioned it, with VS8, I had my video music added to the library but with VS10+, I haven't done that yet so haven't been able to drag and drop. Thanks. Glynn.
