Putting copy protection on DVD's

Post by pianolance »

Is there a simple inexpensive yet relatively effective way to put copy protection on DVD's made with Ulead? Or any home made dvd's for that matter.

I don't think so.

Have a look at this previous post on the same subject.

It depends on your interpretation of inexpensive. To those that may own 2 or more $250k homes, own several cars, the cheapest car is valued at $65k, then laying out $45k (that's 45 thousand dollars) for the license may be inexpensive. ;)

There's not much you can do -- if someone wants to copy it, they can find a way...

There are things you can try to "slow down" the casual copier, but in the end anything can be copied...

George
