When it crashes, have you already loaded a video file into Video Studio? If you are loading a file, what format is it? (The Read This First... post at the top of the forum tells you what we need to know in order to help you.)

A bad or corrupted video file can sometimes cause a crash. Corrupt-file problems can be hard to diagnose, because a bad video file will often play-back OK, but cause trouble when you try to edit it or convert it.

If your computer only has 2Gb of free space, that is only half the space on a DVD... If you are dealing with DV format video, that takes 13 Gb per hour of video alone. And Video Studio normally requires at least another 13 Gb space to edit and process a project. So I suspect your problem may relate to space.

As for not having the DV-to-DVD wizard, that is almost undoubtedly a result of having an SE version of VS9. SE always implies that the program has been crippled in some way, by having certain functions either limited or removed entirely.

i know that 2 gb free space is not much
but i just started, and i am not going do edit movies..
my friend have the same computer with 60gb free space, so i am not sure this make me a problem.
another thing is, that i am not register the software because this error
(it's possible because of this?)

and how can i change the sittings so vs9 use
the drive D, if i cant get the preference?
i download a patch "Ulead VideoStudio 9 Update Pack" (18.9mb)
from: http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp90.htm
but i cant install it, during the installation i get the message
"setup cannot find ulead videostudio 9.0 installed on your system" why?
