I know that some have received their hard copies of VS11 -- anyone else run into this "out of stock" situation?
Now they're "out of stock" on VS11?

I went to all the trouble of ordering the boxed version of VS11+ for U.S. delivery, which goes thru Digital River and all that. They sent me a number of emails thanking me for my order, telling me that it's being sent to the shipping facility, etc. Then today I get an email informing me that they're "temporarilly out of stock" and they hope to ship it "soon". What's that all about? I can't imagine that this product is flying out of the warehouse all that fast.

I too have run into a problem, but, not with VS11, I bought a couple of Smartsound CD's from the site, a little over 8 weeks ago now. Still on back order.gordonwd wrote:I went to all the trouble of ordering the boxed version of VS11+ for U.S. delivery, which goes thru Digital River and all that. As far as VS and all the other software I bought from Ulead, I always opted for the download version. I'd rather have it now, then later. Always just made a backup of not only the software, but the purchase emails.
I'm just guessing, but usually the disc replication process is so fast once it starts that they can't possibly begin shipping and then be out of stock.
So the shortage should be in packaging or documentation etc..
Of course excluding that they actually stopped everything because they recompile for an early patch.
Etech seemed to have selectively distributed another version solving some HD issues, if you read some other threads here.

This my understanding of it.
