I purchased a Toshiba notebook operating on Vista. Alongwith it I got MF5 (5.51.0018.0 SE001). I was trying to make a coy of a DVD recorded on a Sony Camcorder. But MF5 was unable to recognise vob files in "add video files" mode. Then I tried "import dvd" mode. I was almost succesful till the end. In the end "finalizing vob" message came and "unspecified error" came. I was unable to burn the dvd. Kindly advise the forward path. Thanks in advance.

first check the disc for any physical errors.
also make sure that the disc is playable from just test the beginning and the last part.
if both are ok. check if you have other burning software installed like nero or roxio. (Compatibility Problem might be occuring) uninstall these software.
if the problem occurs, maybe its a bad media (change your dvd-r) or you can try a clean re-installation of the MF.
