MF6 - getting to the final burninstep (step 3) is impossible

Hi.

Just installed MF6 including patch on Vista.

Getting from step 2 to step 3 (burning) is impossible.

Clicking og NEXT does nothing - it stays on step 2.

I can go back - but not forward to step 3.....

This must be a bug in the SW - anyone able to help??

I'm running the MF6 as administrator, so rights are nota problem here. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall - didn't do any difference.

You might have a conflict with some other burning software. (It's usually "drag & drop" burning software taking-over your system.) Do you have any of this software on your PC? (Vista might have drag & drop capability built-in.... ??? )

Or, you might have a bad video file. (A slightly corrupt video file will often play-back OK, but cause trouble when you try to edit it, convert it, or re-code it.)

Please tell us something about your file format, and how you captured it. The Read This First... post at the top of the forum tells you what we need to know in order to help you.

Well, in my case I have tried using several video clips - both MPG2 and AVI from a DV camera - both give exactly the same result.

I have also tried to disable any possible processes that I could - no difference.

I have tried to re-install Ulead DVD MovieFactory - no difference.

I have tried small and large videoclips - no difference.

The SW doesn't hang - it simply just ignores that I press NEXT on step 2/3....

I'm running out of ideas on what to try.....I had Ulead DVD MovirFactory 5 on Windows XP - and that worked fine - so somehow it's a combination of version 6 and Vista as I see it - all other apps. on my PC work 100% correct - only Ulead is causing problems....

Please provide any advice, as I can see from several forums that I'm not the only having the problem of comming from step 2 to 3....
