I am using this as a trial before I buy. I like a lot of it but am having a problem.
I have VS11 on Windows XP with Dell Computer.
I had 8mm videos put onto a DVD.
I caputered the video from DVD to VS11 without difficulty.
I can edit the videos without difficulty.
When I burn the new DVD the first 5-15 minutes of a 30 minute video works great then the video develops an audio delay of about 1 second for the rest of the video. I went back to the location and cannot see any audio problems or aberrant inserted clips. I never fiddled with any music clips or any other audio. So I went back to the ~10 minute location and cut out everything from 10 minutes to 30 and created a new video and burned it to DVD. The same this time the previous audio delay section worked well but a few minutes into the clip the audio delay returned.
Am I missing something? Is this part of the trial software that does not allow full production? Help please. My wife really wants these edited vidoes of the kids with all of the boring stuff left out.
VS11 Please help with audio delay problem

Hi woodscavenger
A very difficult problem, one that should not occur even with the trial version.
I know you will have done this but first check the audio sync¡¦ on the original dvd prior to capturing to VS.
After capturing and editing, create a video file of the finished project
Share-Create Video File-Same As first clip.
This process will render the project creating a new Mpeg file (It may take some time)
You can play the file on your pc (Power Dvd etc) checking the quality.
Provided the quality is ok, use this file to burn to dvd.
Start a new project
Share Create Disc-ADD Video.
Hope this Helps
