VS 11 insert video files not working

I have just upgraded to version 11+. I import TV programs via a Hauppauge tuner. In version 10 it was easy to import files created bu Hauppauge software into Video studio to remove ads and make a DVD. In version 11 when I click on the file to import it nothing happens. I can go back to version 10 and it works fine
