Application Hang

I have just purchased and sucessfully installed Photoimpact 12. I run Vista Business edition on my comp and I am constantly getting application hang with photoimpact 12. Error states:

The program Iedit_.exe version 12.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed.

This is ocurring with every session in PI12 and makes it impossible to complete any project.

Any pointers as to what needs to be done to fix this

Did you apply the Vista patch?

Hmmm.. There's just a lot of Vista related problems regarding PI12 -- patched or unpatched.

Sorry, I just have to say that.
