PI 11 in Vista issue

Upgraded to Vista. Toolbar Icons will not work. Re-installed PI 11.

Example: Have to click on File, then go to Open File icon. By just clicking on Open File icon on Toolbar does not not work

Help!! FYI DO NOT UPGRADE TO VISTA. What a colossal mistake!

There's a lot more than that broken with Vista (RAW support, File Save dialog box, ...). Currently only PI12 is supported under Vista; at this point I'm evaluating other options since they're forcing the purchase of new software on us anyway. For now I'm just going to use Canon DPP for the basics, and when I need PI I'll use my 3+ year old machine running XP.

Welcome to the WOW experience

If you want to use PI under Vista you will have to upgrade to PI 12 but there is no guarantee yet that it will work flawlessly. It seems to do for some but not for others. I would revert back to XP until all the compatibility issues have been solved.
