No Sound after burning DVD

Post by oknavarro »

Hello.

I hope someone can help me please.

I'm quite an experienced user of Ulead VideoStudio and have recently upgraded from 10 plus to 11 plus... I thought that by upgrading to 11plus, my problem may go away. it didnt :-(

My problem is that when creating a DVD.. I've previewed every part of the video including the menu and everything seemed fine... but when I click burn.. it burns to a DVD without any errors...

heres the problem..

when I put the DVD on the DVD player.. the menu plays the music and functions as it should do .... BUT the individual videos have NO sound !!! I've repeated the procedures several times and with other menu templates.. still the same..

Anyone know how to solve the problem ?

Does it have audio if you play on your computer (using WinDVD or PowerDVD) :?:

What format is your audio for your project, and how is your audio linked into your sound system :?:

No... after burning my project on the DVD.. the menu music plays on the computer but there is no sound when you play the video.

I've played other DVDs on my computer since then so I know "may" not be at fault.

Try a small test (create a test project using just a small clip and a simple menu).

Burn this to DVD Folders on your hard drive (don't burn to DVD Disc). When you select to burn to the DVD Folders, check the option to NORMALIZE AUDIO.

btw, what format is the audio in your original source files, and what format is the audio for your dvd :?: Do your originals have audio (where did they come from, how did you get them onto your computer) :?:

1. Export a complete video/audio file FIRST.

2. Then import this file directly into the DVD authoring module.

Don't try to author a DVD by making changes in the timeline and then clicking the "create video disc" button because those changes probably aren't going to be reflected in the file that is burned to the DVD.
