MF6 Plus slow motion effect

Post by Jake Ironshirt »

Can the MF6 Plus package render slow motion effects to some HD footage or do I need to also pick up another software program? The camcorder would be a Cannon HV20. I'm very interested about filming motorcycle Speedway racing.
Thank you
Jake

MF6 is a DVD authoring software. although it is capable of editing videos, its editing functions are limited. it only allows the user to add titles, transitions, add music and other audio tracks and split and trim the video clips. if you want to add slow motion effects to your video clip, try using a video editing softwares like Ulead VideoStudio 11. for more information regarding this software, kindly visit, http://www.ulead.com/vs/runme.htm

Just be aware that it's probably going to look blurry.

When you see slo-mo in a movie, it's shot/filmed at high-speed and then played back at the normal 24 (or 30) frames-per-second. In your case, you will be playing-back at a slower framerate... actually repeating frames over & over... and it won't look as sharp. And, our brains are more tolerant of bluring when we see the actual fast-action. You've probably noticed that when you freeze-frame fast-motion (or any motion), the image appears less-clear.
