How to Burn DVD W 24p

Post by chum94555 »

Hello, I have SONY camcorder that can record in 24P . So I recorded an event past weekend using 24P. I then was able to capture it on UVS 10 PLUS at 24P (project properties was changed from 29.97 fps to 24 ) . So my first question, is this the correct way to capture in 24 P?

Secondly, when I was done with the edit under SHARE I rendered it and saved it as MPEG 2 file but here it defaults to 29.97 fps and even going in custom settings, it does not give me option of saving as 24P.. Is UVS 10plus CAPABLE OF saving files (in MPEG2 format) at 24 P? If yes, how?and next will be burning DVD in 24 P format.. can this be done?

thanks

Normally you would capture at 29.97fps interlaced video.
This would be more compatible for making HD-DVD's, hd-mpeg2 files(HDV) or standard dvd's.
