PI 8.0 Steup for a better resource use.

Hi,

I've got WIN/XP with 1 GB RAM (500 MB free) and Intel IV 2.8 GHz.

By scanning fotos after 3 to 4 times PI send a message that there is not enought memory!!

What is the best setup to have more resources for PI?

I beleave PI takes more and more resource and it can't handle it.
