Placing images in folder; help files

Post by tzvi »

I am having trouble managing my library of images.

I imported images, and now would like to make a collection out of them, store them away for now in their own folder, and import a new set of images for a new project. But I can't figure out how to do that. Can any one help me?

Tzvi

P.S. The help files are not available. I guess they are not downloaded for the 30 trial. Is that true?

The images you imported are still in the folder you placed them in originally - VideoStudio does not move or change your images in any way - the thumbnails in the library and the pictures in your timeline are just links to them - you can delete the thumbnails in your library by simply selecting them and hitting the delete key on your keyboard - this does NOT delete your images.

You say you have already imported some images - so why are you unable to import more using exactly the same method.

You are correct the trial version comes without a help file to reduce download time - you can however view/download a user manual from the Ulead Website here :-

And if you use Library Manager, you can create a new library pane for each new project, and your images for that project will be grouped in that pane.

Library Manager

It makes things a lot easier if your clips ,files and projects are stored in the Library Manager then they can be deleted in one swoop. To access the L.M either Go Tools Lib Man or select it from the list via the drop down arrow next to where you change the library type.Choose the media type then new-name it,select edit to amend name/description if required. You can then delete the named folders and their contents in one go when you want to regards Ken
