I use Cool3d version 3 and after I have created all objects -texts, shapes, 3d geo objs. I group them according to their relation. But the problem occurs when I apply any preset/custom fx to a text object ;the same fx is applied to the rest of the objects in all groups. For eg. I was creating a clip to show the leader text rising up from below in animation with "Fire" fx.I had the 3d Prism object positioned in the center with textures etc applied and it does not have any motion to it.Then the footer text is to drop from above like water and path animation.Finaly both the text rest aligned in line with the static 3d prism. But whenever I moved/applied fire to "Head Text" ;the same motion and fire is applied to the static 3d prism and "Tail Text".I tried using show/hide but to no avail.
Anybody here who can help me with this problem.
Cool3d-How to apply fx to 1Object only-NOT to of all groups?
