I have the same problem with sound like "bobk”-page 6 below. I use MF3SE.
When I use Multi-Trim Video or Enhance video , everything works as it should. I can preview the finished video and all the selected sections are removed and the audio is fine. However after I burn a DVD and play it on a DVD player or PC, the video part is fine but there is no audio. This problem only comes up when I edit the video. When I do not edit, the sound is OK. When I use “show media clip information” after “Add video files” the table shows : no audio, but I hear it. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong , what codecs failed or were missing ?
The answer for “bobk” (You might want to check to see that the project properties are the same as the clip properties. I believe that the audio is always re-rendered whenever there are any edits done. ) doesn’t help. Thank you very much.
