Upgrade to PI12

I have lost PI11. I deleted it as it would not work. The disc I saved it to on the original DL was corruped and locks up my computer.
If I upgrade to 12 do I have to have 11 still in my hard dirve?
I purchased the product and have the serial # for 11.

PI 12 installer will ask for the serial number of the qualifying program, PI 11 in your case. If you chose to download the ESD version of PI 12, you will also be required to register with your PI 11 serial number.
