i noticed that this is in the tutorial section but i posted there and it hasn't been replied to so sorry if this is in the wrong place. also that thread was on version 10.
i cant seem to figure out how to do this easily. coniguring the overlay track would be i would have to follow the number plate at every second, is there an easy way of day this.
i also was wondering whether i could crop the video clip as not everything shown was necessary.
thanks in advance to any help.

If you are unable to use the method described in Steves Tutorial for some reason then you might like to try the 'Moving Parts' plug-in available from here :-

Never known that to be a problem before - VideoStudio usually opens files from previous versions without problems - especially files that are from only two versions earlier.Asian89 wrote:steve's tutorial didn't work because it was an earlier version therefore i couldn't view the file.
You do realise that the downloaded file is a .zip file and needs to be "Unzipped" into a .vsp before it can be used in VideoStudio don't you
Steves not around right at the moment and I don't have version 11 - perhaps someone who does have version 11 can see if they can open Steves .vsp into V11 - download the .zip file from here :-

I found out a workaround.
In VS11+ load the blur01.vsp. I had playback set to high quality so it would render to a temp file before playing back. Once this was done, I then went to open blur02.vsp. I was asked of course if I wanted to save my changes to blur01. I had not changed anything, however I chose yes.
Blur02.vsp opened, and I was then able to use blur01.vsp. I have no idea why.
