We have a Sony DVD handycam. And i use Video Studio 9 to capture and edit all my videos. And i did some successfully. Now i have a problem. Though i record all my videos in 16:9 ratio, when i capture it in Videostudio 9, it captures it in 4:3 [/b]ratio. And so the Videos arent good as they are in 4:3 ratio. I have set the project preferences to 16:9 but, it renders to change itself to Video properties ( which is 4:3 ) . What should i do to get my videos in 16:9 ratio?
The problem is certainly not with my Video Camera because i have set it up in 16:9 wide mode. When i play the DVD directly in Power DVD, it plays in 16:9 ratio, but the VIdeostudio 9 captures it as 4:3
